I spent seven years at Cardinal Langley High School, where I studied and successfully passed 9 GCSEs and 3 A Levels. Subjects included: Maths, Geography, Design & Technology, Computers and Physics. Famous past pupils at Cardinal Langley include: Steve Coogan (comedian/actor), Kavana (pop icon), Paul Scholes (Manchester United and England soccer star),
Martin Allcock (musician: ex Fairport Convention, The Mission, Jethro Tull),
Kieran Prenderville (screen writer: Ballykiss Angel)
Since then, I have always grasped any opportunity to further my education and understanding of my job:
In 1998 I did a course at the BBC in Glasgow covering practical location lighting for film and video.
In 2000 I took time out to do a course at the National Film School in Beaconsfield.
This furthered my understanding of film cameras and film stock and I purchased my own 16mm camera soon after this.
